Cellular One is committed to serving the comminuty it serves and beyond. In the area of Community Outreach, Cellular One has created the Live Connected Kids Radio Network Program. This mentoring program features a web-based radio network that teaches kids ages 10-17 how to plan, write, present and manage their own radio programs to be aired on the Cellular One Live Connected Kids Radio Network. This program links kids and community together and offers participants an opportunity to discover their talents, passions and concerns. Through the creation of community service messages, community events and programs about relevant topics, we continue to make a difference in the lives of those we touch within the communities that we serve. In addition, through Cellular One’s partnership with the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, Cellular One’s commitment to the Healthy Schools Program is working to create healthier school environments by promoting physical activity and healthy eating within our schools—in classrooms, cafeterias, hallways, playgrounds and gyms.
